Waker C. Mack, of Ann Arbor, was in town on business. Miss Bessie Taylor, of psilanti, ; visited Miss I.ouise l'ayne a few days. Miss Hattie Rose spent Thanksgiving with friends at Lenawee Junction. Miss Abbie Chase visited friends at Jackson a few days last week. Misses Viola Shull and Lena Arnold, of Tecumseh, visited friends in town for a few days. Mr. Fred Kalmbach, who is clerking in Jackson, spent Thanksgiving at home. M rs. Dr. Iddings visited at Detroit a few days. Mrs. White, of Adrián, is visiting Mrs. C. Threfeathers. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Mjllen have returned from Wolf Lake. Miss Nettie Griffin, of Mason, is the guest of Miss Blanch Starks. Miss Ida Aichele carne home from Brooklyn to spend Thanksgiving with her parents. Henry Neumann, who has been working in Detroit, returned home and is now clerking tor W. C. Mack. Miss Jennie Lane, of Blissfield, was the guest of Miss Emma Schuift over Sunday. Mrs. Wm. Hewitt, of Jackson, is visiting friends in town. Mrs. Clinton Farrell, from Grand Rapids, was in town a few days. Mrs. Frank Miles, of Jackson, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacquemain. Miss Minnie Kahill, of Tifiïn ()., is visiting her and Mrs. N. Hough. Mr. Stitt, uf Evans Lake, spent Thanksgiving with his daughter, Mrs. A. Ayles. Mrs. H. Cash and daughter, of Brooklyn spend Tuesday with her parènts, Mr. and Mrs. James Kelly. Mr. and Mrs. C. Neumann and family spent Sunday with friends in Saline. Mr. Ternes, of Adrain, is visiting his brother Father Ternes. Fred Burtless and friend, Win. G. Wilke, of Iowa, who spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Burtless, returned to Ann Arbor. The supper and bazaar, given by the members of St. Mary's church last Tuesday at Arbeiter hall, was largely attended, and was a great success.
