Wisdom is the guest of iier daughter, Mrs. M. Ostrander, at Monroe, tur a few days. Mr. J. C. Rouse visited Detroit Monda}'. Mrs. Grace Butler and son, of Detroit, are the guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wilson. Miss Lucy Curtis is on the sick list. The M. E. society will hold an oíd time watch meeting at their church, Monday evening. Chas. Shortridge, of Warsaw, ]nd., is risitiug M'ian friends for a 'roí. VV. Babcock and wife, of Lansing, are visiting Milán friends for a few days. Miss Mary Murray has rcturned frotn England and says that slie is ylad to be at home once more. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Putman are visiting relatives in Union City. Mr. and Mrs. Pratt, who have been the guests of their cousin, Mrs. Minto, returned to their home in Vernon, Mich., the last of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Mell Barnes and son have returned from their Quincy soiourn. -Mr. and Airs. J. H. tord are eatenaining guests froni Lansing. Mrs. . Schinitt and children have rctarned írom t hei r Detroit visit. Mr. and Mrs. Ransom Rouse, of Saline, spent Saturday and Sunday with Milán friends. Mr. Chas. King, of Cleveland, O., is the guest of his sister, Nellie VVhaley. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mains and son have returned to their home in Detroit. Atty. G. R. Williams is quite ill. Mr. C. Johnson, of the U. of M., is the guest of Miss Curtís this week. Miss Alice McMahon is entertaining guests from Clayton, Mich. Airs. H. C. Markham, of Ann Arbor, spent Friday with her sister Mrs. G. R. Williams. Mrs. VVm. Hoyt returned to Saline the last of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sill will entertain guests from Lansing, Dexter, -Saline and Milan, New Years. The F. M. society are holding revival meeting at the Union -church. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Rouse entertained guests to tea Saturday evenine. Mrs. Vincent is entertaining guests this week. The churches will observe the week of prayer. Mr. O. C. Newcomb, of Carlton, was in town the last of the week.
