Died Trying To Save His Boy

Newayoo, Mioh., Dec. 31.- Charles White and a 6-year-old son woro cremated by their dwelling buming. White was awakened by his wife, and ran up-stairs wliere his four children were sleeping. Three made their escape, but before ho could fiud the fourth the stairway was in flames. He knoeked a board off the end of the house, but could not get out before he was overeóme with heat and smoke. His wife realized the dauger and called him repcatedly, but he would not sacrifice his son to save kis own life.
