Muskogkk, I. T., Jnn. 17.- Another crime is laid at the door of the French gang of outlaws. Jim French, the leader, and Sam Mc Williams, one of the most desperate men of the gang, appoared at tho house of a Mr. Glad, ten miles out f rom Fort Gibson. They demauded admittance, and because Glad did not respond quiok enoligh to suit them they begau shooting from their Winchesters into the house. Two of the bulleU struck Gad in the arm, f racturing it, and two more oaught Mrs. Glad just above the elbow, sovering hor arm. Duriug the melee a daughter of the old fulks attempteil to mako ln;r escape. Before she had rvaeüed tvventy feet from tho house she sank to the ground with twó bullets from the outlaws' Winchesters in her body. Theoutlaws, apparently satisfiod with their work, quietly rode away. The Gladfumily ar inoffensive Cherokees.
