The department also decides that the awardiug of a prizeto the purson gucssing neare-.t tht nuniber of seeds in a water melón would be a lottery, though the guessiug oí thc vveight of a melón would not constituís a lottery if the guesses were made at'tur the melón had been lifted. ïhe award oí a prize to ono suggesting the number of beans in a glass bottle, in plain view, is also held to be a lottery.
