Chesteb, IHs., É'eb. 38. - The mhabitants of Kaska-kia are greatly stirred up over thu füing of two suits in the circuit court against the president and trustees of the Commous of Kaskaskia. Allison, Who olaima ownorship of the new town site, and the other is in the nature of quo warranto proceeding nstltutod by State's Attorney Goddard seeking to depose the trustees froin otlice and declare forfeiture of charter grantec in 185J. lt is charged they have diverted rentáis to the support of the Roman Cath olie ohurèh and schools.
