Death of Alderman Bodmer
Alderman Pierson L. Bodmer died at his home on South Main street yesterday afternoon of heart failure He had been most seriously ill for several days and on Monday, respiration had twice to be restored by artificial tneans. Mr. Bodmer was born in 1841 and carne to this city about five years ago. He was engaged in the lumber business here and was a good, quiet, unassuming citizen with a widening circle of friends. He leaves a wife and one daughter. Mr. Bodmer was elected alderman of the first ward by a large majority last spring. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon.
