New Yokk, March 7. - George J. (jould speaks wariuiy rogarding sume oL the statements made in the newspapers regarding the marriage of nis sister to Couut de Castellane. He said: "The varioua stories of marriage settlements and uthers oí payineuts of debts and all that are untrue." "Is there any truth In the $8,000,000 settlement on Count do Uastellaney" Mr. tiould was asked. "There was 110 suoh settlement," said Gould promptly, "in any shape or iorni. The Count de Castellane asked noching in a money way and nothiug was offered. The question of money did not enter into the matter at all, and it never has entered into it, report to the contrary notwithstanding. I did not see the neeessity of speaking of this before, but it is as well to settle the matter lor once and all iiid put au end to the ridioülous stories that have been told and pubüshed."
