The U. of M. base ball team are I putting in their vacation playing ball. I On Satrarday af ternoon they missed playing a game iu Detroit with the Detroit league team on account of rain. Yesterday they played with Donui.son, at Granville, O. Today they play in G-ambier, O., with Kenyon college. j Their other dates are as follows : Ohio State University, at Columbus, O., Wednesday, April 17; Depauv University, at Greencastle, Ind., Thursday, April 18; Wabash College, at Crawfordsville, Ind., Friday, April 19; University of Illinois, at Champaign, Hl. , Saturday, April 20; Notre Dame, at j Notre Dame, 111. , Monday, April 22. The team which took the trip are Sexton, Watkins, Gallop and Miller, pitchers ; Holmes and Condón, catchers ; McKenzie, first base ; Lee or Butler, seoond base; Deans, third base; i Bussell, short stop ; Bloomingston, lef t field; Shields, center fields; one of the substitnte pitchers right field.
