SPRINGFIELD, April 15. - Elliott Bohannan Horndou, i pioneer lawyerof Illinois, is dead. For Coriy-flve years he was one of the lending lawyors of Illinois. He was a brother of William H. Herndon, the law partner of President Lincoln, and was au associate of Lincoln, Stephen A. Douglas, Lyman Truiubuil, E. D. Baker, John M. Palmer and other lawyers of raarked ability.
