PARIS, Tex., April 15.- War has broten loóse in the eastern portion of the Choctaw nation. Ever since the Jones-Locko feud of two years ago the deadliest enmity has prevailed between parties ot different political beliefs. Last week Arnold Isliche was shot down by some unknown party in his own yard. He had always been an avowed friend of Governor Jones. His nssassination aroused the whole community, and the Cooper boys, who had always been warm friends of Locke, were suspected of the crime. Later Solomon Loanaker, Simpson Loanaker and three of their friends laid in wait two miles north of Eagleton, in the Choctaw nation, for the Coopers, who were planting a erop. As the Coopers carne up the Loanakers opened flre from ambush with Wiuchesters. Their flre was returned. There were flve men in each party, and for ttiirty minutes a deadly íusillade prevailed. Governor Garduer, of tho Choctaw nation, chanced to pass the place and found Solomon Loanaker, Simpson Loanakur, Cornelius Cooper and lom Forbes dead in the road within a few feec of each other with their Wlnchesters in their hands. Near his dead brother lay WUliaiiÁ Cooper, shot in a dozen places, but still alive and conscious. He gave Gardner a dctailed statement of the whole affair. His statement cannot be had now, but enough is known to show that the Loanakers were instigated to do the bloody work by money given by political friends. The Coopers were very popular and their friends are furious over the affair, and are on the warpath swoaring vengeance against the Loanakers and all their frienda.
