Aurora, May 6- The village of St. Charles was visited by a oyolone which passed through the town vith fatal reBults. The oíd stone poatoíHce building on the east Bide of Main street, occupied by Mrs. Church as a milllnery store, was blown down and Mrs. Church was killed. Two young lailies had apartments in the building and one of them who is missing is supposed to be in the ruins; the other, Miss Augusta Anderson, was killed. The falling walls caught aud killed a passing horse, and the driver was serlously injured. Two other men were struck by flying timbevs and were quite badly hurt. Several other persons about town received injuries more or less serious, A man named Luther Caustin had one leg and an arm broken. Andrew Johnson, of Elgin, had his back broken. The killed are: Mrs. Hattio E. Church, Miss Augusta Anderson, Charles Johnson and Joseph Thompson, all uf St. Charles. Jacksosvillb, May 6.- This section was trcated to a storm which amounted al most to a cyclone. Rain and hail feil in torvents and the wind blew a hurrisane, doing great damage. Two men were uriving under souje trees when one feil on them aud crushed the vehicle to atoms, injuiing the occupants. Buildings were unroofed and much property destroyod. Peoría, Hls., May 6.- A wind and hail storm, the severest in recent years, swept over the city, doing many thousand dollars' worth of damage. Hail an inch and a half in diameter feil.
