■Worthington, May 6.- A heavy rain accompanied by a tornado came over the crest of the ridge south of the town. No damage whatever was done here, but toward tha northwest, just outside the village, it tore a great portion of the rooi from the house of A. E. Tuttle and badly wrecked his barn, entirely demolished the granary of Mr. Stokes, the barn of Mr. Bargen, the school house of tne district, sorae outbuüdings of Albert Leistico and entiroly destioyed the buggy in which Mrs. Dr. Evlgar was riding, though she herself was scarcely injured.
