At a meeting of the home department of the Woman's club held early in the club year there was a discussion, led by Miss Harriágton, oí the Colorado laws relating to women. The blood in the veins of the mothers present was made to boil or congeal, according to difference in temperament, by the discovery that in Colorado a mother was given no legal right to her children, of which the father was considered solé guardián. The indignation resulting froin the discussion of such manifest injustice was relieved when Senaipr Hartzell introduced a bilí into the'RgiRlature to amend the statutes pertaining to guardianship of children so that the mother shonld be the joint guardián of her children with her husband.
