To the Coinrnon Council : Your committee on Sewerss to whom was referred the report of the City Énginneer relative to the constructiou of a lateral sewer on and aloiig Washington street, beg leave to snbmit t)ie followinf? report : That we have exarnined the proflle and report of the city engineer and we are of the opinión that a lateral sewer on Huron street east from the rnain sewer is a necessary pnblic improvernent and that the sanie ought to be oonstructed, commeneiug at the main sewer and ruiming easterly along Hm-on street to Twelfth street. Your committee approve the boundaries of the lateral sewer district indicated in sueh report and recommoud that the board of public works be ordered to ask for bids for the constractiou of such lateral sewer.
