Archbishop Kenrick Not Deposed
Kome, June 6.- It is said at the VatIcan the action taken by the pope does not depose Archbishop Kenrick from hls present title or position, nor does it appoint Archbishop Kain as his successor. It was made for the purpose of assisting in the management xnd administration of the church property of the archdiocese. It does not in any way make Arohbishop Kain the successor of Archbishop Kenrick, but grives him such strong powers as coadjutor that he wlll be able to carry on the laboriouH work of managing the church property and affairs as thoug-h he were archbishop in name or fact. This will bring no deposition or removal of the venerable head of the archdiocese.
