Mrs. Ernestine Bcrar, of Detroit, was the guesfc of Mrs. Willard B. Sniith for a few days this week. Mrs. Martin Lawson returned to Detroit last evening from a few days' visit with Mrs. S. W. Beakes. Mrs. L. M. Palmer went east by the 5 p. m. train yesterday and will sail irom New York on Saturday for Europe. Col. and Mrs. Sterling, of Deroit, attended the Episcopal convention here this week and retnrned home yesterday morning They were the guests of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity while in the city. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stone, of Grand Rapids, are in the city on their wedding trip. Mr. Stone gradnated in the law department three years ago and has been doing exceptionally well. His bride was Miss Mamie Jeffords, of Grand Rapids. Tifrus F. Hutzel and family returned home Monday evening from Dayton, Ohio, where Mrs. Hntzel and the child - ren have been making an extended visit with Mrs. Cari Bauman, nee Lizzie Brehm.
