Mrs.A. B. Saiith has a very interesting account of her visitto the Press Association at Lansing in the Milan Leader of Juue 31. Miss Florence Chapin and Miss Essie Edwards have retuined froru their Nora visit. The Masonic festival was quite a social eeut. The Daughters of Rebekah will indulge in a lawn fete at C. M. Black - mer's Thursday -eveniug. The Baptist sociey are cleaning, oiling varnishiug and papering the inside of their church. Rev. .T. Ward Stoue returner! Suuday frori liis New York state visit. Miss Hutehinson, of Aun Arbor, is the guest of Mrs. A. B. Smith Messrs. B. and C. Wate.of Scio.spent Suuday with Dr. S. and Mrs. Chapin. A large number of Milan people attended the Hack-Dayton wedding at Ypsilauti Tuesday eveuing. Mr. and Mrs. U. Bnrchard have moved back to Milán from Detrot. Rev. Mr. Dennis will preach at the Union church June 30. Oscar Newcomb is visiting his sister, Mrs. Cady, at Wayne. Miss Cora King, of Sc. Olair, is the gnest of her niother, Mrs. J. C. Rouse. O. E. Jones has greatly improved the outside of his drug store with a coat of paiut. Prof. and Mrs. Carrick have rented Mrs. E. Lenards house for next year. Miss E. Allen is visitiug Ann Arbor relatives. Mrs. J. Bemap has returned froin ier Sherwood ,Ohio, visit. Mrs. Frank Guy visited Ann Arbor Monday. The Heath Bros. have wired for nine elcctric lighs. Died, Mrs. Ada Dexter, June 23, aftpr a long and painful illness. Funeral services were held at the residence on Dexter street, Monday af ternoon, June 24. Deoeased leaves a husband, brother and a large circle of friends to monrn lier loss. Married - Hack -Dexter - June 25 Miltou Hack. of Milan, and Miss Lucy Dexter, of Ypsilauti, at the residence of the bride's parents at Ypsilanti. Married - Denuison-Haok - Greo. A. Deuuison, of Ypsilauti, and Miss Nina Hack, of Milau, atjthe residence of the birde's parpats on East Main street, .Tune 26, Rev. J. Ward Stone officiating. E. A. Noble and wife, of Decroit, were the gr.ests of Attorney and Mrs. G. R. Wiliams a few days this week.
