Washington, June 27.- For the flrst time in maiiy inonths 'the treasury receipts for the current mónth will exceed the rxpenditures. The treasury balance sheets for the month show a surplus instead of a deficit, and as the expenditures are usually light towards the end of che ruonth it is regarded as certain that the surplus will continue to grow from now uní n July 1. The treasury is $46,683,211 behind in the inatter of receipts and expenditures for the current ñscal year, and in the Íntervening days becween now and July 1 it is unlikely that more than a million and a half oí this deflciency will be mado up, so thac the yar's balance sheets probably will show thac the expendicures for' the year wero about $45,OUÜ,UO0 greater than the receipts.
