Miss Mary M. Haskell

Miss Mary M. Haskell of Mirmeapolis has just been appointed census taker for Cass county, Minn. Tbe population of the oounty is widely soattered, and the trip will have to be made on horseback. Mnch of it is au unbroken wilderness, and there are rnany Indians in the county, some of whom will have to be enupièrated. The undertaking is a formidable one, and very few women would be willing to attempt it.
