Boston, July IS.- Tha flrst delégate oonvention of the JVlassachusetts Peopla'8 party was opened in this city by Chairman E. Gerry Brown, of Brockton. Iii his opening addross he said: "Massachusetts is bounded by State Street on the east, Wall strest on the west and decorated throughout with national banks." H was voted to mako the state oruauization permanent, and J. P. Gardner, of Dauvers, was elecced president of the convention.
