WASHINGTON, JUly 30.- JLM I. JU. O. A. building on New York avenue, neat the treasury department was almost destroyed by flre. C. C. Bryan's fine grooery store adjolns the association's building on the wesc and was badly burnod, while the hardware store of James B. Lamie was also damaged. The Y. M. C. A. building was valued at about $35,000, and was fully insurod. Mr. Bryun's Iobs may reach $a"o,000, and is fully covered by Insurance.
