In Old Washtenaw

Little Johnnie Ritz, son of Adam Ritz, of the flfth ward, accidentally shot himsef last Sunday with a small child's rifle belonging to auoher little boy of about eleven years. Johnnie, who is still younger, held the rifle while the other boy went a short ways off. He thonght he would see what it iooked like down the barrel and when he stooped over to look, the gun went ofE, inflictiug a soalp wonud on the temple. He was laid up for a day or two. These child's rifles are dangerous things and parents should not place thern in the hands of their children.
