Mrs. Charles Morgan and daughter Edith, of Ypilanti, are guests at Mr. and Mrs.George Hammond 's. Mrs. Thetis Milliman, of Flat Rock, and three grand children, Miss Lola Wells and Masters Arthur and Jesse Milliman, have been spending a number of days with relatives, George N. Morris and Henry Hammond. The colored camp meeting is in full blast. Tnesday even ing there will be a band on the ground. A collection of silver will" be taken up in the evening. The annual meeting of Fraternity grange was held in grange hall,Monday af ternoon, August 19. The Maccabees have a grand picnic on Wednesday afternoon of this week in George Mooie s woods. Miss Effie Johnson is very sick with muscular rheumatism. The farmers' picnic will be held on Tuesday afternoon, August 29. Everybody come. John Greenman is very sick, but we hope not seriously. Mr. James B. Lord has been enteraining friends froin South Rockwood, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Bert Love who is teaching school near Briar Hill.
