Advicesreceived f rom Frzinghamam, Armenia, say that great terror prevails there owing to the attitude of the Turkish authorities. The latter, in consequence of an attack which was reoently made by brig-ands upon a Turkish eolonel during1 which a rnember of his escort was killed, are believed to be steps which will have most scrious consequences. The Armenians are accused of being the authors of the attack on the eolonel and it is alledged that a large f orce of Turkish troops has been retaliating by attackingthe villages and monasteries of the vieinitv and engaging in other acts of violence. The Armenians, fearing a recurrence of the of the Sassoun outrage, have appealed j to the ambassadors of the powers at Constantinople for protection.
