Deptuy Sheriff Jay Wood has found a man who cannot explaiu how he carne to be in Aim Arbor. On Saturday morning a man was seeu tying ajhorse and buggy noar the farmers' sheds on North Main street. The man then walked on Main street. As the horse was still standing at the same place late at night, it was put into W. Q-. Snow's barn. In the buggy was a bag marked John Johnston,Cone's Station, which is belowMilan. No one appearing to claim the buggy, the affair looked very mysterious. On Sunday the sheriff very properly decided to have the case look d up, and sent Jay Wood, lis deputy, to Cne's Station. Here he 'ound Mrs. Johnson very much worried as to the whereabouts of her busband. Vhile Mr. Wood was talking with her Mr. Johnston appeared. He said he ïas found himself in Bellcville, but ïow ho got there he did not know. He ïad no knowledge of being in Ann Aror. Fift.y dollars of nis money was unaccounted for.
