Chicago, Sept. 26.- Despondent on account of his wife's death, J. F. Glen, an inventor, couimitted suicide at his home, 115 Frernont Street. Glen ended his lifo by shooting himself in the head. He was the inventor of the Glen air brake and other railroad appliances. Ever since the death of his wife last winter the man had been downhearted, but it had not been feared that he would commit suicide. Ha was 60 years old.
