Fight With Indians

Hekmosillo, Mex., Sept. 36.- Information was brought here of a flght between a scouting party of ranchmen and a band of twenty Yaqui Indians in the mountains southcast of here. The Indians have been making attacks upon the ranches of the stoekmen, and have burn ed a number of ranch buildings and dsiven off severa! himdred hcad of stock. The ranchmen organized a party and went in pursuit of tho Indians, and af ter folio wing them for several daya, oame upon them in the almost impenetrable mountains. They fired upon the Indians and the latter stood their ground. The battle was a hand to hand conflict, and resiüted in the killing of fiye Indians and the wounding of several others. Three ranohmen were killed and flve wounded.
