Re?. M. H. McMahon and family lef t for their Pinckney charge Friday. A large circle of friends both iuside and ontside of the ohnroh deeply regret tbeir leaving. The Tuesday previeras to tbeir departure over 150 oalled to bid them adieu and wish them God speed. The parsonage, dwing their stay in Milán, was a pleasant resort for the oíd and the young alike. People were alWays greeted with a pleasant smile and 8 -word of cheer, ever receiving good counsel and [good advice f rom the worthy pastor and his genial family. May their unes be cast in the brightest spots on the banks of the stream of time, is the sincere wish of a large circle of friends, and the latch string is out for them in many of Milan's homes. Mrs. J. Sprague left for her home in Arin Arbor Friday, after a six weeks' visit with her danghter, Mrs. G. R. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Wooster Blodgett, of Webster, are the guests of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bill. ■Born to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Woolcott, a'danghter, September 28. Mrs. E. A. Reynolds, of Detroit, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Wm. Taylor, of County street. Prof. and Mrs. Carrick are entertaining guests from out of town. Mrs. K. Barnes visited Detroit day. Attorney and Mrs. G. R. Williams entertained gnests from out of town Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Lucy Clark visited in Detroit Monday. Mrs. A. B. Sraith returned from her visiting tour Monday. The Baptist ladies will hold their annual fair Saturday at the Collis store. Dinner and supper will be served to the hungry. E. Hinckley, while unloading hay Wednesday, ran a pitch fork through bis right foot. Although it was not right for him to do so, it footed up in that way and Ed. has been coufined to the house since that eventful day. Miss Cecil Gauntlett visited Ann Arbor this week. Mr. and Mrs. C. Lamkin will go to housekeeping in Mrs. Otto Bennett's house on County street in the near future.
