Railway Station Destroyed

Syracuse, N. Y., Oct. 1U. - The New York Central railroad station in this city was destroyed by iire. The station had been cvacuated Sunday for the ncw railroad building and was not in service at the time of Cue lire. It was to have been torn down, and on this account the loss is small. An expross car eontaining íaW,000 consigned to the sub-treasury at New York was in the station at the time the Ure was discovered and cauglit flre. It was rescued with diföpulfcy.
