The case of John H. Shadford vs. the Ann Arbor city railway has attracted the attention of the circuit court this wsek, the jury Wednesday uight returning a verdict f or the plaintiff in the sum of $4.500. Shadford was employed in putting in the new line of ïoad and in September of last year sustained an injury by a fall from a trolley wagon, which paralyzed his lower limbs. jje claimed in his snit that a vise with which he was working on the wire, was of wrong construction and gave way. causing his fall. The case will be appealed,
