E. C. Wolff was iu town on Sunday. Miss Nettie Güleit, with ocher Manchester teachers, visitecl the Adrián schools Friday. Flovd Pardee is suffering from a severe" attack of tonsilitis. Dr. Ohlinaer is in attendanew. Friday eevning a dancing party was held iu the vacant house belouging to Herman Strahle. A good time is reported. The celery taarvest at the Blacman farm has been corripleted. Ihe season has been quite a profitable one. David Haselschwerd is threshing corn for a nuinber of the fai-rnershereabonts. It is reported that weddjng bells will ring tvvioe in Sharon ín the near future. t A missionary meeting was held at the Centre church on Wednesday. The Bpworth League held the first social of the season at E. W. (Jraft's ou Friday evening last. There was a large attendance and all reported a good time. M. E. Keeler will attend the Exposition at Atlanta some time during the comiug month. We understand that Mr. K. will return via New York. Qeorge Srnitb, Will Wacker and Reuben Kappler expect to take a bicycle trip to Atlanta, Georgia, next B oa h. E. M. Pierce began the winter terra of school in tlae Cowan district last Monday. This is the eleventh term which Mr. Pierce has tanght in the above meutioned district. E. Rowe has moved on the George Mount farm. Mr. and Mis. Addis Giliett, who have been visiting relatves here, have retarned to their home in Perrintou. Will Keeler will teach the winter term of school in the Everett district.
