Eugene Reynolds and daughter Mand. of Detroit, are the guests of Mis. Wm. Taylor, of County street. Died, Mr. J. Pool at his home Satur" day of typhoid fever. The fuñera1 was held at the house Monr'ay after' noon, Rev. Mr. Shoeuiaker officiating Prof. and Mrs. Geo. Dennison, of Dundee, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hack. Mr. and Mrs. O A. Kelly are entertaining guests from Toledo, Ohio. Miss K. Lamb, of Blissfleld, is the guest of Mrs. T. Barnes. Mrs. Rouse is entertaining her brother Mr. Williams, of Erie, Penn., for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Sprague and sons, of St. Louis, Mo., are the guests of Attorney and Mrs. G. R. Williams. Rev. H. T. Shier and family are entertaining guests from Tecumseh. Dr. and Mrs. S. Chapin entertained guests from Detroit Cbristtnas. Mesdames Putnam and Hill. of Union City, a'e visiting Milan friends. Milan is quite gay for the holiday week. Card parties, etc. Mr. II. Sill and wife entertained guests from Milan, Saline and Lansing New Year's day. Prof. and Mrs. C. M. Fuller. of Mooreville, are the guests of Mrs. Utter Fuller, of Dexter street, for a few days. The Jb lower tueen cantata is getting ready under the management of Mrs. W. È. Sprague, for tbe boards in the near future. A rare treat is expected. C. M. Blackmer has returned from his Detroit sojourn.
