The time draweth nigh when the Liight Infantry boys' hard work is to bear frnit in the Winter Circns. Tbe rink will be tnrned into a verüa ble cirons tent for the occasion, for the sides will be covered with canvass, while the floor will be sprinkled with sawdnst and the ring will be laid npon a foundation of clay and sawdnst whioh will give it the springy effect that is present when the circus is given in the snmmer time "out on the lot." The managers of the oircns desire it to be generally understood that the show is to be put on by professional oirous people, the. only looal talent being Harkins and Granger, who bave always been warm looal favoritos in comedy roles. The circus clown is Lon Moore, a professional who comes from Bridgeport, Conn., to put ou the fooi 's cap. Not even the ringrnaster will be Jocal, a professional essaying the dress snitcr! whip oracker. Mr. and Mrs Frank B. Miller, who do the two horso carrying act, are the star performers. They get the higgest money and bring with tbem three horses of their own training. La Belle lina, in an aerial act, and Ed. Myers, strong man, the three Waltons, high class acrobats, who have contraots with Ringling Bros. for next year, Leroy and Morris, the triplo horizontal artists, are among the star features. Besides the circns proper, there will be a sidesbow and concert. Harkins and Granger will be held responsible for tbe concert, while the side show W 11 have the regnlation fratnres, Ciroassian qneen, ruidget, tattooed man, eto. Tbere will be a noonday parade Wednesday, Feb. 12, and iu it the local boys will get in their work, bnt the real cirous is all by professional people and they the best that inoney could procure The Detroit Wheebneu have expressed their iutention of coming en masse Saturday, the last day. They have just closed a snccessful circns of their own, and the pointers they have giveu the ooal rnilitia have been inany and valuable. The Ann Arbor road will mn a half fare excursión on Wednesday, the first day. "Sea the show once, " the boys say, "and you will ootne again. We've got the features to please, and have spent lots of money. If we get the patronage we are all snre everybody will be pleased " Remember the dates, Feb. 12-15.
