Hall, had the misfortune to swallow a peach pit Such minor matters as these, however, will not prevent his continuing the good vvork of cutting down township expenses and giving Sharon the benefit of an economical administration of her domestic affairs. Will Wecker is still in Alabama and writes that the chHuge of climate has been very beueücial to his health. The parents of Mrs. Bert D. Rose who has been visiting here for some time will depart for Seattle soon. Mr. Thrashef has moved into Edmund Rowe's house. The Epworth League will hold a social at the home of Win. 11. Mount thisevening. David DuBoise is workintr at the mül now. The Ladies' Missionary Society held their regular meeting at the Center church on Wednesday. In addition to the ustial business cushioas were. made for the church pews. Ths pupils of Dist. No. 6 held their hst social at the residence'of E.M. 'ierce on Friday evening last. Notvithstanding the inclement weather a goodly number were in attendanse. An interescing program was rendered which did credit alike to pupils and eacher. The proceeds will be used to mrchase window shades for the school ïouse. M"iss Flora Retían began teaching at ïoger's corners on Monday last. Dist. No. 2 purchased a fine globe md reading chart recently. C. A. Bullard was in Jackson last veek. Mrs. Bernhard Ahrens hast just recovered from a severe attack of la grippe.
