Welch Post, No. 137, G. A. B., held a very enjoyable camp flre Wednesday evening. Rev. J.Kimball described the duties of the chaplain, (Japt Manly reoited the incidents of the battles of Buil Run aud Gettysburg, Mayor Walker also discnssed the battle of Gettysburg, while Maj. Soule to)d how he reoeived his commission as major from Gov. Blair. There was some kicking beoause the war governor commissioned the major, who was a democrat, but the governor said he just as soou send a demoorat down to get killed ae anybody else.
