Washington, March '6. - The senate oommittee on foreign relations Wednosday briefly considered the Hawaiian cable question, but deferred action until next Wednesday, when the committea Will make an efïort to dispose of the question. A bilí has been drafted by the coramittoe embodying what are believed to be the best features of the Soirjer and Spaulding bilis, but omitting all names, ■which the commUtee will mako the basis of ita discussion.
