SpkisüField, Hls., 7.- There is trouble n the CJniform Rank, Knights of Pythas, over the action of the supreine officers ohanging the biennial session of the supreme lodgo from Minneapolis, where it was located by the supreme lodge at ;he biennial inoetingin 1S94, to Cleveland jeoause the ruilroads would not give the jnights the same rate of 1 cent per milo ihat they offered the Grand Army oí the Etepublio. The G-rand Army meets at 3t. Paul the flrst week in September, and ;he Kuights oí Pythias could have changed their date to one week later and secured the desired rate. But this Sujreme Chancellor Ritchie and Major 3enoral Carnahan of the Uniform Rank declined to do. Major General Carnahan issuod no orders, however, for the holding of tho eneampmont, and in oonsequonce no national encampment will be held thts year. The state assembly of the offlcors is to je held at Chicago IS, when they will doelde whother they will attend the Drigade encampment at Minneapolis or ihe one at Cleveland, or whether they will ïold one in this state. The action of the Bupreme officers in making tho change from Minneapolis to Cleveland is being generally condemned. The matter will come up at tho next meeting of the sijrjreme lodge. If the action of thq,"s'u)reme officers is sustainod the il?Ltional enoampments of the uniform j?ank will robably be done away with.
