Crimson Clover

The Michigan experiment station at the Agricultural ooilege, Lansing, has sent out a bulletin on the coudition of erimson oiover in 17 connties of the state. Arnong those who reported was C. M. Bowen, of Chelsea, who uuder the date of April 21 said : "I sowed 4 acres the 5th to lOth of August, 1895, on rye stubble and among white beans both lots are now looking quite promising, though killed in a few spots from which the snow was blown off. Abont the 1 oth of August I sowed five acres in corn but it did not come np well and though not winter killed much is too thin to leave. "
