Washtenaw Teachers' Convention

The next meeting of the Teachers' Assooiation of Washtenaw county will be held at the high school, in Ohelsea, on Saturday next, May 23, when the following program will be parried out : Morning Session, 10 a. m. - Paper, "Gramniar," Miss Ella L. Morton; paper, "English work in district schools, " Miss Belvia Waters. Afternoon session, 1:30 p. m. - Paper, ' ' Prophylaxis, or the latest science, ' ' Prof. A. D. De Witt; paper, "U.S. History in the district school, "Miss AlmedaParks; discussiou, Mr. Joseph Lamb; paper, "Vertical writing, " Miss Jessie Doane; paper, "Physiologyand hygiëne in the distriot school, " Mr. Allen F. Rockwell. Teachers are earnestly rtjquested to attend this meeting. Every effort WÍU be pat forth to make the occasion a pleasant one. Good music will add to the interest of the program. Special ratos for meals have been protnised.
