The ainnual exhibition oí the Ann Arbor Art School is announced for the iirst week in June, beginning on Tuesday evening June 2d and eontinuingall the week, in the Masonic block. Thi's exhibit will include the work of the school during the year, work ïu pencil, pen and ink, cha.rcoal, oils, water colors, and pastei. Work in pastei is aiiew feature of the school, and some effective aji-d pleasing work has been done iii tha medium. The scliool has had a membership of iorty under the mstruction of Mr. ITrancis Paulus, ain artist wb,o is fresh irom many yeai-s stucly abr.oad, who has taught in the art schools oí Detroit and has giiven to this school most conscientiouis and genei-o-us criticism, and a igreat ímpetus in the right direetiou. At this time he will A'ive to Ann Arbor people tilie pleasure of seeing some of his work which has let;ii much admired in exhibitions in Detroit, Chicago a,nd more recently in Indianapolfe. The admission iee is only 10 cents, tliat all friends may visit the exhibit more than once. FiTe o'clock tea will be served which ,s a social feature everyone enjors.
