Death Of Mrs. Gilmore, Of Delhi

Died, in Delhi, on Monday, Jnly 20, of cáncer, Mrs. Amanda M. F. Gilmore, aged 64 years, 10 months and 2-Í days. The funeral services were held at the house, Weduesday afternooa at 1 o'clock, Rev. .T. M. Gelstou officiating, and the remaiDs were interred in Forest Hill cemetery. Mrs. Gilmore was au old resident of Delhi, her flrst husband -being Norman C. Goodale, proprietor of the Delhi milis, and by whom she had one son, Frank W. Goodale. Mr. Goodale died iu 18T7 and five years ago she married her present husband. Mrs. Gilmore was bom in Pennsylvania in 1831, her name being Smedley, and of Welsh desceut. She was the youngost of a family of 13 children. In her lifetime she did a great deal of good amoüg the poor and in mission wark and was sincerely respected by all who knew her.
