Under the heading "Centennial Mills Running, " the Lapeer Clarion of last íveek has the followiug to say of J. M. ávvift, who is an old friend of the Arus of many years standing: "The Ceutennial Mills, are ruuning igain. J. M. Swift, of Ann Arbor, proprietor of the St. Clair Flouring Mills from '79 to '92 and of life-iong sxperience in the flouriug business, is here as manager. He started the maihinery this week and is prepared to take care of the wauts of the public. Mr. Swift has latteüy been known tbrough his oonnection witb the firm of Swift & Co. at the above nniversit'y town. He expects to move to this place nest month. Aside from ah older married daughter, his people consist of wife, son and three daughters. Practical faimliarity with his business from boyhood up, is an assurance to the public of good work at the Centennial Mills hereafter. M
