Democratic State Convention

To the Democratie Electora of the State of Michigan: The demócrata of Michigan will meet in state conveution m the city of Bay City, on Tuesday, the 25th day of August, 1896, at 12 o'clock noon, ior the purpose of nominatins party kandidates for the following state officers : Governor, Lieutenant-Govérnor. Secretary of Ptate, State Treasurer, Auditor-General, Attoruey-General, Commissioner of State .Land Office, Superintendent of Public InBtrootloD, Memuer of the State Board of Education. The convention will also nomínate two Presidential Electqr-at-Lar?e, and two Altérnate' Presidentíal Electors-at-Large, and iike candidates for each of the twelve congressional districts of the state; and it wil] transact such other business as may come before it. The democratie party invites all friends of the principies enunciated by the party in its national platform, aud of the candidates noniinated at the Chicago convention, and all men who have participated in the achievement of the great victories of the democratie party or who desire to'share in the democratie triumph of this year, to particípate ín the election oí deletrates to thls convention.
