ired tr. Woelper died at bis home m Saliue, at 1 1 o'clock Thnrsday morning of last week after a short but severe illness. The Sunday previous to bis dealh he was as vvell as usoal with the exceptiou of a little cold, but during the night sigus of neuralgia appeared. On Mouday a doctor was called iu, si i 11 be contiuued to grow woree, his face swelling badly and the pain becoming intense, so mnoh so tnat the cords of the eye coutracted and had he lied it would have destroyed the sight. Mr. Woelper was born in Europe iu April, 1868, and canie to thís country wheu he was but 14 years oíd. April 5, 1893, he was married to Miss Auna Kleiu. The uniou was a brief but happy on. The funeral services were held Sunday moruing at thn house at 10 o'clock and at the church at 10:30 o'clock. He was a menber of the Maccabee and Arbeiter sooieties, both of wbich attended the fuueral iu a body.
