Bryau's speeches teil. The enthusiasm aroused wherever he appears is uubounded. The Arkansas election last Alonday is a straw indicating how the south and â– west feit on the issues of the day. The deroocrats had over 60,000 rnajority over the republicans and populista, the vote showing a good increase. This is a rnajority 38,000 larger than two years ago, aad the largest ever given in that state. The law requiriug that oorporations in Michigan shall file anuual reporte with the secretary of state bits people in high places as well as others. Aniong the directors of corporatious which have failed to make reports are sorue prominent Michigan officebolders. One of thetn is Chief Justice Long, of the supreme court, who is president of the Wolverine Stone Co., and two others are Gov. Rich and exChief Justice McGrath, who are directors of the concern. Silver has not decreased in value. Gold bas appreciated in value. You cannot compare it with gold with itself. You must compare it witb other coniruodities. Land, worth 100 per acre in 1880, does not and will not sell for more than $35 to $40 per acre now. The farmer suffers this depreciation or loss. The rnoney lenders never suffer from any such depreciation. They sell the farmer out. Then they have what the farmer has paid, and bis land. That is exactly what the rioh single gold standard magnates are after. That is jast what they want.
