Clarence Taylor, of Duluth, Minn., was in town Friday visitiug friends. He went to Ann Arbor to resume bis work at the university. Mrs. N. S. Schruid and three children went to Ann Arbor, Satnrday to visit with relatives until yesterday. Madams L. Knrfess and Geo. Schaible are visiting Ann Arbor friendf. Mr. aud Mr?. Backus and daughter Florence, of Lockport, 111., vvho for the past two weeks have been the guests of Mr. aud Mrs. Lynch, have retnrned home. Mrs. ,T. Keek, of Ann Arbor, has been visiting friends iu and abont Manchester. Elmer C. Silkworth went to Hillsdale, Friday, to work in a lauudry. Miss Marie Blosser entertained a number of her friends at her home last Saturday, it being her tenth birthday. The installation of the new officers of the Manchester Chaptur, O. E S.., occnred last Friday eveuing with a large attendauoe. Hou. Thos. E. Barkworth, of Jackson, spoke at Arbeitor hall, Weduesday evening to a large andience.
