The October session of the circuit court opened Mouday rnorning with 102 cases ou tbe docket, of which 23 were criminal cases, 44 issues of fact, 1 issue of law, 12 chaneery first class, 3 chancery secoDd class, 19 chaneery fourth class. The larger portiou of the cases were coutinned until next term of court. Those (iisposed of were: The Poepe vs. Christiau Seyfried, violatiou of liqnor law, rlisinissed ou payment of coste. People vs. Jacob Dupper, atue offeuse, dismissed on payiijent of oosts. Charles A. Maynard vs. Delta Tau Delta, jndgment rendered teversiug commissioner's decisión with costs aud attorney fee. People vs. Ohristian Spaeth, uiolation of liqnor laws, fined $10 aud coses $5. People vs. Matthew Alber vs. Wm, Kelly, same offense, fiued $15 and cosls $5. Iu the case of the People vs.Beujamin Fraukeustein, cbareed with larceny, the jury rerurned a verdict of not guilty. Frankenstein was immediately rearres'eloua charge of jail breaking. öeorge Thum, violatiog liquor laws, paid 25 fiue aud $S costs. Johu E. iMansfield. was fouud guilty of embezzling $29.95 from Tucker & Co., 'was senteuced to Jacksou for two years. Michael Heist for attempted crimiual assault ou Mrs. Mary Weiukauff, was fonud gnity and senteuced to the couuty jail for six moutfas. The case against Wm. Hansou, for larceñy from Eberbach Drug aud Cbemical Co was contiuued uutil uext term of court and the defeudaut was admitted to bail iu $000. Decrees of divorce were grauted to Carrie Trouten from Richard Trouten, Minnie Fletcher from Guy A. Fletcher, and Mary H. Voorheis from George W. Voorheis.
