The court room was crowded last evening by those wbo had assembled to hear A. C. Gormley, law '91, of White Sulpbur Springs, Montana, talk npon the present great political issues. Mr. Gorinley when at school bere bad earned for himself a fioe reputation as a first class debater. His address last eveniDg in no wise detracted from that repntatiou, indeed bis four years' praotice in the courts have added to his ability. His argumenta were stroDgly and logically made and for au bour and a half he entertained his audienoe with a 8olid mass of arguments and dednctions, during which he was frequently a; plauded. One excellent point about his address was that it was totally free from any calling of Dames or mud sliuging, and anv menciĆ³n of tberepublicau party or Major McKinley was made with the respect due to a great party and the man whom it bas been pleased to honor.
