J. C. Rouse is visiting his sons in Lodi. Mrs. Lncy Clark spent Wednesday in Toledo. Attorney G. R. Williams is on the siok list. Mrs. Frank Campbell is quite ill with typhoid fever. Mrs. Chaplin entertained Mrs. Hale, of Grass Lake, Friday. Mrs. Chas. Ganntlett and Mrs. O. A. Kelley visited Detroit Saturday. Mrs. C. M. Fuller, of Mooreville, spent Tuesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Williams. Mrs. Nellie Whaley left Tuesday morning as a delégate to the Rebekah Assem bly at Lausing, Mioh. Mrs. Utter Fuller returned Saturday from a week's Tisit with Prof. and Mrs. C. M. Fuller, at Mooreville. Hon. A. J. Sawyer, of Ann Arbor, and Frank E. Jones will speak at the opera house from the gold side of the question this evening. Capt. Chas. H. Manly, of Ann Arbor, spoke in the Maocabee hall, at Mooreville, Wednesday evening. The Milau silver men attended en masse. Friday eveuing N. J. Robinson, of Detroit, delivered a scholarly address to a paoked opera house from the silver side of the question. His argumenta were oonolusive; hia metaphors were apt; and he took the historical side of the question from the first issue of metáis as inonay in the different nations down to the present time, mak-" ing the effect of the oue standard plain to the people. Previons to the address the Silver Brigade came out with 250 torches aud fine devices. Oue striking feature of this parade was 16 white horses and one cream, 16 to 1. Great enthusiasm is manifested in progressive Milan. The Silver Club is to be congratulated ou its ohoice of speakers.
